1. Initiate Transfer
With PDF2U you choose “Print” from within almost any application. No more confusing FTP hassles or e-mail corruption. As an alternative, you can visit our website, select “Send a File”, and attach native files to initiate the file transfer.

2. Automatic Compression
All files are automatically compressed before being sent, which saves you hours of upload and download time. For example, a 90MB file may take 6-9 hours to upload with a standard modem, but after MyOrderDesk compresses it, it may only take about 20 minutes.

3. Job Ticket & Softproof Online
When the file is compressed and ready to upload, you will be presented with a custom online job ticket where you enter valuable information about the job or file you’re uploading. When you click “Send”, your files are immediately uploaded to our MyOrderDesk site and you are given a job tracking number. Once processing is complete (a matter of minutes), you will receive an e-mail with a job link, which will allow you to view the PDF file to ensure everything looks the way it should. If it doesn’t, you can reject the proof and resend it right away.

4. Instant Notification
Once the confirmed files (proof accepted) arrive at the MyOrderDesk site, you and Factor both receive an e-mail confirmation. You’ll have peace of mind knowing that your order has been received and is being processed.

5. Factor Forms Picks Up Your Files
Now all we need to do is pick up your ready-to-print, PDF2U files. Since the files are delivered to us in PDF format, you won’t need to worry about Factor Forms having the correct version of software to open and print your files.
