New CPA Standards Effective July 1, 2007

The New CPA Standards are now in effect. Business that are reprinting cheques or ordering new ones should confirm the cheques comply with the published specifications. To help their business customers make a smooth transition, the CPA has introduced a grace period for "old format" business cheques until September 2, 2008. This extended transition will allow businesses that are still working on the changes to use up their existing supply of cheques and to make any required changes to software.

What do you need to do?

Educate yourself, your staff and your customers:

• Invite us to your place - we'll do a personalized seminar for you and your customers
  
• Download a "dealer" or "customer friendly" presentation on the new CPA standards - contact us to personalize the presentation with your logo

Ask your customer what software they use to generate cheques:

• QuickBooks or Simply Accounting
  
• Other "off the shelf" software
• Custom software
