Let me introduce myself...

Hello! I am Elaine, one of the sales reps here at Factor Forms & Labels.

Elaine Roker

I hope you have been enjoying the blogs that my fellow Sales Team have been sharing. We are happy to give you a little insight as to who we are and how we started our journey.

I am the Sales Rep for the Victoria, British Columbia location. I started with Factor Forms in the Vancouver location in 1993. Oh my, that seems a long time ago and in fact it is. I have now been with Factor Forms for 27 years.

I guess you can say I was destined to be in the printing industry. Straight out of high school I started with a printing company as a delivery driver. I then moved on to the bindery department and eventually learned how to run an AB Dick 360 press (I think they are dust collectors now). After that I worked at various local print shops until I was approached and asked if I wanted to work at the Factor Forms Vancouver Branch. I worked from that office until November of 2019 when a position opened up at the Victoria location. Wanting to eventually retire on Vancouver Island, it was the perfect opportunity for me (not that I am retiring anytime soon). It truly was the best decision I have ever made.

I was born in England and moved to Ontario in 1970. In 1975 we moved to Richmond, BC where I have lived until my most recent move to Victoria. British Columbia really does live up to the slogan, "Beautiful British Columbia". It is really a great place to be with the spectacular mountain and ocean views.

I love anything Sports related. I was very active in sports throughout high school as well as coaching girls soccer, right up until my kids didn't play anymore. I am an avid golfer, but unfortunately you wouldn't know that by my scorecard! I love anything to do with the outdoors. I even tried my hand at fishing a few years back - this coming from someone who wouldn't even put a worm on a hook! One of my favourite things to do is go for walks on the many trails that surround us and just soak up all the beauty that we have.

If you are ever in the Victoria area, drop on in and say hello :)

We are all truly blessed to work at a company where you feel like family and I hope that you will be part of our journey for many years to come.
